The ISACS Network are a proud member of the Alliance for Insurance Reform, as we are determined to make insurance sustainable, suitable and affordable for everyone in our sectors.
The Alliance is now running an education series on different issues around insurance and kindly made it available to our membership.
They assessed that many of the challenges individuals or organisations face around insurance stems from an uncertainty about what to do, or what to ask etc.
Therefore, after their first talk entitled “How to Manage A Claim Against Your Organisation” – that took place on Tuesday, 12th December, we encourage our members to participate in their second talk. It will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, January 31st at 10am for 1 hour and will be about “Understanding the legal process – PIAB, litigation and the courts”.
Once again the emphasis will be on straightforward, practical information about the various processes involved, the things to look out for and the questions to ask. The last talk on “Managing a Claim Against my Organisation” received very positive feedback and both that talk and the next one are delivered by solicitor Thelma McMahon.
To register and attend, please email Brian Hanley, CEO of the Alliance for Insurance Reform, at brian@insurancereform.ie.
Please note that Brian will be on annual leave for the first few weeks of January (2nd – 19th), so if you will have emailed him registering your interest, he will contact you the day before the talk (and sooner if possible), providing you with the Zoom link, etc.
