Join us for Rising Future Producers; a day-long workshop demystifying the role of the Producer:

  • What does a Producer actually do?
  • How does a Producer get a project off the ground?
  • How do Artists find the right producer for your needs?

We will explore the roles, responsibilities and qualities of a Producer, look at ways of building partnerships and creative teams to get a project off the ground and examine case studies to understand the dynamic between artists and producers.

FACILITATORS

Led by Kevin Wratten from Split Second (UK) and Kath Gorman from Promenade (Ireland); two organisations with a focus on producing and touring street arts, circus and spectacle, this workshop is targeted at self-producing artists, new and emerging producers, or for other early career arts professionals (administrators, coordinators) with an interest in better understanding the Producing role.
