In this showing of work, Nicola embarks on a journey born from the depths of grief. Navigating the complex and often challenging landscape of this world, Nicola explores her personal experience of  loss, disconnect and the emotions it stirs within. This work emerged as a means of making sense of her own experience and, by extension, the collective experiences of countless women. Shedding light on the intimate relationship between personal grief and the broader issues of women’s autonomy and the complexities we face in our society.

The showing will begin with an installation piece in the artist’s studio followed by a short film in the black box theatre. ‘Mother’ by Bockety Bodies, directed by Nicola Moran, Shot by Sean Mc Mahon, performed by Nicola Moran and collaborating artists Ali Stanger and Aoife Raleigh.
