This year Lumen are offering a Masterclass mask-making workshop for teens. (14+)Join us for an imaginative and fun mask making workshop with the amazing artists at Lumen Street Theatre.
This hands-on masterclass workshop explores the use of materials, colour, pattern, form and mask making techniques. Participants will design and construct a unique mask using a series of sculptural techniques, building their own individual forms to create truly unique artworks.
During this workshop the artists at Lumen will demonstrate a variety of new techniques, transforming everyday materials, by manipulating, folding and crimping cardboard, paper and foam to build sculptural forms.
This workshop promotes experimentation and recycling of everyday materials and is great for improving manual dexterity and imagination.
The workshop will take place within Lumen HQ, surrounded by masks, costumes, props and puppets in preparation for Samhain 2025.
