Jolt 2021 is a week-long festival of professional development dance workshops, dance film screenings & rich discourse about the current/future state of dance practice & performance.

This week is curated by the current Dance Artist in Residence, Dee Grant who is based at Garter Lane Arts Centre and supported by Waterford City & County Council & Arts Council of Ireland.

The concept behind JOLT Dance Week & symposium is the creation of a focal point that channels and strengthens engagement & discourse around art- form of dance (with a particular emphasis in the south east context). This is the second year of this successful event which supports the work of the dance residency by increasing networking & sharing opportunities for dance artists, performers, and choreographers to participate in extended professional development opportunities like masterclasses, screenings & symposium discussions.
