Join us for funambulism workshops at Circus in the Park during our Mayhem Youth Circus Festival!
‘Funambulism’ is the art of tightwire walking while using a balancing pole. It’s an activity that people of all ages and fitness levels can master, with a little patience and trust in themselves. Funambulism is also a powerful mindfulness tool that promotes mental and physical wellbeing.
We are offering multiple opportunities to try funambulism at our two-day Circus in the Park event at Fr Burke Park during the Mayhem Youth Circus Festival on Saturday, 24 May and Sunday, 25 May. Funambulism workshops are €5 and booking is required. See the timetable below.
Father Burke Park is located on Father Griffin Road opposite the fire station. No on-site parking is available, but city centre parking is located nearby.
Saturday, 24 May
- 11am-1pm for youth 12-17 years
- 3-5pm for adults 18+
Sunday 25 May
- 10:30am-12pm for adults 18+
- 1-2:30pm for youth 12-17 years
