BIRDS is led by choreographer and director Matt Szczerek and takes the themes of injustice and oppression from cult classic One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. A raw expression of pent up frustration at today’s norms and expectations where our wings feel clipped and freedom is a luxury most of us can’t afford anymore.
