ISACS provide a unified, strong representative voice for the collective art forms of Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle across a wide range of areas of interest.

We actively contribute to National Policy development through direct interaction, written representation and formal presentations both public and private.

In recent times Ireland has introduced two significant, new documents which will shape the future of Arts and Culture across the nation. ISACS attended the consultations for these and prepared written presentations towards same.

For instance:

 

Recent times have seen the introduction of new bye-laws in relation to street performance. ISACS has attended meetings in both Dublin and Galway in relation to same and actively gathered and wrote a submission through consultation to influence the introduction of the Dublin & Galway City Bye-Laws for Street performance. You can download these new bye-laws and ISACS submissions on same hereunder:

    • Submission in consultation with members to the Dublin & Galway City Bye-Laws for Street performance

    • Dublin City Council Street Performers Bye-Laws 2016 -> Read ISACS Network Submission on Street Performer Draft Bye-Laws to Dublin City Council (2016)

   • Galway City Council Street Performers Bye-Laws 2016 & 2018 -> Read ISACS Network submission on Street Performers Bye-Laws to Galway City Council (2017)
