ISACS provide a unified, strong representative voice for the collective art forms of Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle across a wide range of areas of interest.
We actively contribute to National Policy development through direct interaction, written representation and formal presentations both public and private. We have made a Pre Budget 2020 submission to government.
In recent times Ireland has introduced two significant, new documents which will shape the future of Arts and Culture across the nation. ISACS attended the consultations for these and prepared written presentations towards same.
- Making Great Art Work - Arts Council Strategy (2016 – 2025) -> Read ISACS Network submission on Arts Council Strategy (2014)
- Culture 2025 - Department for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht – National Cultural Framework Policy (2025)
Recent times have seen the introduction of new bye-laws in relation to street performance. ISACS has attended meetings in both Dublin and Galway in relation to same and actively gathered and wrote a submission through consultation to influence the introduction of the Dublin & Galway City Bye-Laws for Street performance.
