The Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network (ISACS) is Ireland's leading support and advocacy organisation, for the development of these collective art forms. We aim to raise the profile, increase recognition and support the development of the sector by:
Information and resource sharing
ISACS has established itself as the main point of information and resource sharing for the Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle in Ireland. We regularly share opportunties, such as funding, jobs, residences, call outs and events that engage with this sector.
Advocacy and Policy development
ISACS aims to help our members and the wider sector to build a clear, strong and dynamic case for these art forms to grow and develop collectively. We highlight the profile and visibility of our members work by promoting these art forms to both the public and key stakeholders in the cultural, political, funding and advocacy sectors. We do this through gathering information and research about the sector, sharing, communicating and representing at every opportunity.
Training and Professional Support
ISACS provide regular training, mentorship and professional support to artists. We work directly with industry experts and provide regular workshops and training events for our members, supporting them with the development of a professional practice.
National and International Networking
ISACS continue to grow and develop its connections across Ireland, the UK and Europe through building direct relationships and memberships with a wide range of partners including Circostrada, ISAN UK, Theatre Forum and the Irish Theatre Institute. We represent our members by attending meetings, at home and abroad, hosting events and showcasing ISACS members nationally and internationally, through a variety of platforms.
