This seminar is designed to discuss the art forms of circus and street arts, their creation and impact on our audiences, communities and society. Invited guests include both local and international artists who are presenting work at Cork Midsummer Festival. We invite you to come along and hear their stories, how they make their work, where they get their inspiration and how they got started. We will also be discussing who the work is for and how they reach those audiences and why. These and many other questions will form the basis for an open conversation delving into the world of Street and Circus Artists and what makes them tick!
This event is for all those who are interested in creating, producing, presenting, promoting, participating, supporting, encouraging or viewing street and circus art forms in Ireland today.
This seminar takes place at the Circus Factory, Albert Quay, Cork on Friday 12th June from 2-4.30pm.
