While Katharine Kavanagh of Circus Diaries investigated what’s happening in UK... We, in Ireland have also started to get things moving with a superb launch in Galway in April and two brand new open calls:

- Call for Irish projects (Circus250 & ISACS)
Lead Irish artist and 10 early career Irish artists to take part in a circus/hip hop Circus250 project in 2018. (Cork Midsummer Festival)

In addition, the ISACS team also attended the Circostrada General Meeting working on a variety of projects including the preparation of Fresh Street #3 hosted by ISACS in Galway in 2019 in partnership with Galway 2020 and NUIG.

Our next project with Culture Ireland is taking place in Spraoi Waterford, where we are bringing international promoters to see Irish work thanks to Culture Ireland's See Here programme. Read more here.

Meet international professionals at ISAN On the Road - Waterford Spraoi.
ISACS is delighted to have partnered up with ISAN and Spraoi festival to discuss the theme 'Building international relationships' on August 6th at Spraoi festival in Waterford.

The Independent Street Arts Network is excited to be back On the Road again in 2017, visiting a variety of festivals throughout the summer. Following on from last years fruitful tour, ISAN (UK) will bring a series of Outdoor Arts networking events to eight festivals across the UK and Ireland.


Each event will include a chance to learn more about the host festival from the festival team, some information about the work of ISAN and a lively open space style discussion around a topical issue affecting the sector.

#DELVE17 programme at Spraoi: application now open!

ISACS is delighted to have partnered up with Spraoi to offer the opportunity to two of our members to attend any of the festival's events. They will Discover, Explore, Learn, Visualise over 20 events and Engage with the artists and other ISACS members during the three days of the festival

To fully benefit from this Go See programme supported by Arts Council Ireland, two lucky DELVErs will have their transport and accommodation provided by Spraoi and ISACS. Full details here.

Please note this years' edition of Spraoi is a special one celebrating 25 years of the largest and oldest Street Arts Festival in Ireland and offering the opportunity to meet international professionals and programmers with ISAN UK on the road on the 6th and the presence of international programmers, 4 brought to the festival by ISACS thanks to Culture Ireland SEE HERE programme.

BREAKING NEWS: ISACS WELCOMES APPLICATIONS FROM MEMBERS TO PRESENT AT EXPLORE'S OPEN NEWSROUND
The Open News Round is one of this year’s EXplore programme novelties offering the unique opportunity for  ISACS members to present their latest project in front of fellow peers, attendees and enthusiast’s.
Each successful applicant will be given 2-3 minutes to present their latest project and wow the audience. It is the perfect opportunity to showcase, gather feedback and highlight your work to a wide and highly qualified audience of professionals in the sector. We want to present the rich diversity, wealth of ideas and exciting opportunities happening in this sector today.


Please send an expression of interest with a short summary of your project/ plans to 
info@isacs.ie with ‘Open News Round’ as a subject before the 21st of March by 2 pm.
