ISACS have just landed in Fossano, a small Northern Italian baroque town near Turin, in the Piemonte region. In the frame of Mirabilia International Circus & Performing Arts Festival's 11th edition, the town will be hosting 71 professionals from 46 organisations of the Circostrada network for their general meeting from the 28th-30th June.
During the General Meeting, Circostrada members will be introduced to the new network’s project for the next four years (2017-2021), co-financed by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
It will also be the opportunity to discuss the current and upcoming activities of the 6 work groups of the network during joint sessions, and to attend professional workshops with local experts around the following themes: the use and interaction of digital tools as a means of improving cooperation processes, communication through audience participation, and integration and acceptance through performing arts.
ISACS main focus at this meeting will be participating in a work group to discuss the recent International Seminar for the Development of Street Arts Fresh Street#2 and preparing Fresh Street#3 which will be hosted in Galway in 2019 in partnership with Galway2020 and the National University of Ireland Galway.
