- General info
- A trans-disciplinary artist and producer, my work integrates aerial movement, physical training, design, direction and education. With a desire for profound experiences, sensual textures and clever ideas, I produce work under the moniker of Dying Breeds, an experimental project incorporating movement, sculpture, fabrication and film. Director of Creation Aerial school, I teach and train aerialists from Ireland and abroad. Previously, I was co-founder and co-director of PaperDolls Performance Company, directing the award winning Constellations with PaperDolls in 2012.
In 2014/ 2015 I received two bursaries from the Arts Council of Ireland to create a new piece of work entitled Object Piggy which premiered at Dublin Fringe, September 2015. Object Piggy won the Judges Choice Award and was nominated for Best Production and Best Design the same year. I presented internationally in July 2015, with Papaveraceae, at the Prague Quadrennial of Scenography, Performance Design and Space and subsequently at IMPACT Festival in Macedonia, November 2015. ‘Movement, Material and Performance’ is the title of my current research project, funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.
